The restoration efforts quickly highlighted some initial setbacks, particularly with the gas tank and carburetor. Upon opening the tank, it was discovered that years of neglect had created a mess, with old gas and sediment firmly settled inside. The goal was clear: clean the tank and start by ensuring the motorcycle received a fresh supply of fuel.
Throughout the process, they placed significant emphasis on cleaning various components, as each small victory would contribute to the motorcycle’s revival. Removing rust, gunk, and grime became a common theme, revealing the hidden beauty of the vintage ride beneath layers of age.
