Transitioning to level two brought the International Buffet, a step up in cost that promised an “all you can eat” experience. Upon entering, the restaurant’s overwhelming festive decor masked its questionable hygiene, making it evident that diners must tread carefully. With claims of rat infestations and food safety lapses looming over it, the environment was akin to a chaotic carnival.
Here, a multitude of dishes were sampled, from pizza with seemingly no flavor to an orange chicken devoid of any visible pests. A particularly hair-raising moment arose when a hair was found in the jello, marking a distressing yet memorable addition to the meal. Ultimately, the buffet provided a unique dining experience, albeit not one to be repeated anytime soon.
