Recognizing that he had contributed to a troubling turnover issue, he explained that several turnovers stemmed from bad fortune, including tipped passes and lost fumbles. Nevertheless, he recognized these as critical learning opportunities despite the high stakes of the NFL.
Building Rapport with Young Players
Looking toward the future, May acknowledged the importance of gaining experience with younger teammates such as Jaylen Pool and Javon Baker. While he appreciated the value of practice in building chemistry with these players, he made it clear that it ultimately falls on the coaching staff to determine who takes the field based on merit.
