Russian Forces Launch Widespread Offensive Against Ukraine

In a significant escalation of hostilities, Russian forces undertook one of the largest attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure in recent months. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Russia launched 93 missiles and deployed over 200 drones in an effort to dismantle crucial power grids across the country. Despite the overwhelming scale of the assault, Ukrainian defenses demonstrated resilience by successfully intercepting 81 of those missiles with the aid of U.S. defense equipment.
