Formats of Cricket
The game of cricket has two primary formats:
First-Class Cricket: Often perceived as the traditional format, this includes matches lasting up to five days. Teams will bat twice, and the goal is to score more runs than the opposing team across these innings.
Limited Overs Cricket: This modern variant is shorter and structured, where each team is restricted to a specific number of overs (like 50 in One Day Internationals) before either the batters are out or the allotted overs are exhausted.
