As someone who grew up in the 90s, the nostalgia for the era of Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls is incredibly strong. The memories of watching games with family, the physicality of play, and the fierce competition create a longing for the past. This emotional connection often clouds current perceptions of basketball; fans reminisce about "the good old days" while ignoring how the game has evolved over the decades. In hindsight, basketball from 30 years ago was fundamentally different from today, and comparing the two eras does a disservice to the improvements seen in the game.
