Part 5/8:
Despite his on-field success, Bell's career took a turn due to off-field issues. In August 2014, he faced suspension for a DUI and marijuana possession charge. Although he appealed, the season began with Bell serving a four-game ban. His return to the lineup that season was promising until he suffered a serious injury, ending his participation in 2015 prematurely with a torn MCL.
Bell rebounded in 2016, regaining his elite form and setting franchise records in playoff performances. However, contract disputes loomed over him as he sought better compensation for his unprecedented contributions but faced reluctance from the Steelers' organization to commit significantly to a running back.
