As the temperature swings continue throughout the week, the prevailing weather pattern changes as high pressure off the U.S. East Coast ushers in a more easterly wind direction. This shift will begin to warm conditions by Monday, approaching average temperatures in the mid-70s by Christmas Eve. Additionally, there’s a possibility of a few showers along the coast as the holiday approaches.
