Vientos began his professional career in the rookie leagues, where he established foundational skills and showcased his hitting ability. Despite a slow start due to his slight frame and concerns about his power at third base, he put in the necessary work to develop strength and hitting prowess. Throughout his minor league stint, he consistently improved, culminating in an impressive run with the Triple-A Syracuse Mets in 2022, where he hit .280 with 24 home runs.
