Awareness is illustrated as a glowing orb capable of moving throughout a vast mental space—this space contains various components such as emotions and thoughts (anger, happiness, art, etc.). As awareness shifts within the mind, it lights up different areas, thus drawing attention to them. This ever-shifting focus is a primary cause of distraction.
