Struggles with Addiction and Behavior
As Alzado’s NFL career progressed, so did his reliance on steroids, which had a significant effect on his behavior. His aggression on the field intensified, leading to unnerving confrontations and violent outbursts directed towards opponents. This troubling aggression eventually earned him a reputation as one of the most feared players in the NFL. Despite denying steroid use to the public, his behavior raised serious questions and rumors circulated throughout the league.
