The pressing question remains: is it justifiable for the Giants to select a defensive tackle with the third overall pick? While Graham may embody high potential, there’s a compelling argument against reaching for a non-premium position at that slot. The Giants need to evaluate whether to stick with their current pick or consider trading down to secure additional assets while still drafting a quality player.
If elite quarterbacks Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders are off the board, the Giants can focus on best player available. While Travis Hunter, excellently versatile as a wide receiver and defensive back, garners a lot of attention, Graham represents a legitimate option. However, if they trade down, the prospect of selecting Graham alongside acquiring more picks becomes appealing.
