An inability to read coverages, mishandling interceptions, and a retreat from utilizing effective play-action strategies exacerbated the struggles on offense.
Defensive Performance: A Bright Spot Amidst Darkness
While the offense faltered, the Packers' defense showed promise. Proving their worth against a potent Eagles offense, the defense allowed only 22 points and kept the Eagles to below 300 yards of total offense. In various respects, this unit performed well enough to win, proving discouraging that their efforts were overshadowed by the offensive shortcomings.
