Ludwig II, often referred to as the "fairy tale king," was born to the throne surrounded by a world of medieval legends and fairy tales, evoking an early fascination with knights and chivalry. His childhood was spent exploring the idyllic landscapes surrounding his father's castle, which set the stage for his later ambitions.
