Boasting an energy density of 185 Wh/kg, the Fang Shing battery is a lithium-ion phosphate type. While it doesn't have the highest energy density compared to some competitors, its performance is notable given the technical challenges inherent in developing short blade batteries. For example, other manufacturers' batteries have reported energy densities ranging from 160 Wh/kg to 192 Wh/kg. Nonetheless, Svolt's current offering is certainly heading towards higher energy capacities, with expectations that such performance metrics will become standard by 2030.
