The media has showcased captured North Korean soldiers receiving medical care in Ukrainian facilities, highlighting a stark contrast to their treatment under Russian command. Reports indicate that these soldiers are provided with humane treatment according to the Geneva Conventions, which may influence others to reconsider their allegiance to Russia.
Among the captured soldiers, two have been identified, with one born in 2005 who had little insight into the reasons for his deployment, and another born in 1999 who served as a sniper. Both soldiers expressed their confusion and lack of communication capabilities while serving in the conflict.
