The Role of Gravity in Wave Function Collapse
Lajos Diósi and later Roger Penrose proposed a strikingly different explanation: gravity. They theorized that gravitational interactions could induce wave function collapse. This notion has dual implications: it addresses the transition from quantum to classical behavior and provides insight into why gravity has resisted attempts to be quantized within the framework of established quantum mechanics.
