The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is severe. With significant destruction to infrastructure and a lack of essential resources like running water, the region is currently uninhabitable. The Gazan population, however, remains deeply connected to the land. Many Palestinians feel a strong attachment to their homeland and are unlikely to be persuaded to relocate, even if neighboring countries like Jordan or Egypt offered asylum.

Jordan is already home to millions of Palestinian refugees, and it is unlikely to accept more. Moreover, other Arab nations are hesitant to welcome additional Palestinians due to domestic stability concerns. Consequently, the question arises: where will the displaced Gaza inhabitants go if reconstruction efforts were initiated?
