In a society that often equates worth with social activity, Buddhism teaches that true peace is found in living authentically. Letting go of the pressures to conform allows us to embrace solitude and engage with the world on our own terms. There is no need to maintain draining friendships or conform to outdated social molds—we can prioritize our happiness and well-being.
Freedom lies in breaking away from societal expectations and recognizing that external validation does not dictate our worth. By allowing ourselves some solitude, we create space for self-reflection, ultimately leading to authentic interactions and relationships.
