Though some argue that we lack specific words of Jesus regarding homosexuality, the broader Christian tradition, evidenced by early Church teachings and writings (including those of St. Paul), has consistently condemned homosexual behavior. This unbroken tradition provides a compelling argument that Jesus's principles would not permit such relationships.
The notion that Jesus might approve of same-sex behavior, only to have his followers teach the contrary, seems unlikely given the historical context and scriptural teachings against it.
