Closer to Allen, just six miles away, is the McKinney ISD Stadium. It has a rich history tied to the original Ron Po Stadium, a 7,000-seat venue that was deemed insufficient over time. Following community voting in 2016, the new stadium was constructed at a cost of $87.7 million, accommodating 12,000 spectators. The modern design not only serves the district’s three high schools but has also become a site for collegiate events, proving its stature as a significant local venue.
