This culminated recently in a seminar held at the University of Chicago, an institution often characterized as "woke U Midwest." The deacons sought answers to a critical question: Why are young men so disenchanted with the Democratic Party? Instead of focusing on voices that authentically resonate with young men's experiences, the panel featured a gender-diverse group that included women tasked with providing insight into male perspectives. This is a questionable approach, as it raises the fundamental concern: What can women truly understand about the lived experiences, desires, and aspirations of young men?
