An overview of recent snowfall indicates that many areas have received minimal accumulation, with northern King County, Snohomish County, and Skagit County reporting around an inch at higher elevations. For instance, Arlington saw about an inch of snow, while Lacey and Federal Way registered just under an inch. Mount Baker also reported low totals, but Ruez cautions that more mountain snow is on the way, which could complicate travel in the mountain passes.
Looking ahead, the weather is expected to remain dynamic. Ruez notes that while today’s conditions may include some sun breaks, the impending changes will bring significant rainfall starting tomorrow.
