The idea of investigating geometric shapes and other anomalies on Mars is exciting; however, it should complement our primary objectives of the missions—searching for evidence of past or present life forms. While there may be intriguing structures, our ambitions must remain grounded in scientifically relevant inquiries.
In future missions, should compelling evidence suggest exploring this square structure or similar sites, it may warrant enough curiosity to justify inclusion in exploration plans. Nevertheless, it should be part of a broader context that prioritizes finding concrete evidence of life, which remains one of NASA's central goals.
