Retrieval-Based Agents: These agents fetch information and provide answers based solely on existing knowledge repositories. For example, an HR agent designed to pull information from a knowledge base.
Task-Based Agents: These agents not only retrieve data but can also perform actions, such as updating a database, thereby automating workflows and repetitive tasks.
