Integral to this reform is a proactive approach to government employment. Recent communications have called into question the performance and very existence of certain government employees, with a specific focus on those who may not have been fulfilling their roles effectively. The efforts have included sending out emails asking federal employees to report on their recent contributions. Surprisingly, the response rate revealed that a significant number, around half, of employees hadn’t either responded or seemed unaccounted for.
