The Bronx is home to many who recognize the absurdity of the current state of affairs; however, they find themselves outnumbered. Democracy functions on the principle that majority rules, and the collective voice can either endorse the status quo or call for reform.
It is in this context that the author aims to illuminate these issues, advocating against the soft-on-crime trend that places the community at risk. The fight for justice for the assaulted officers, the accountability of criminals, and the efficacy of the legal system in the Bronx is ongoing. As awareness grows, perhaps the tide can be turned in favor of a safer environment for all.
