Jung attributed this plight to a societal demonization of man, rooted in an overemphasis on rationality and the present moment. He saw it as an essential task of humanity to awaken to the unconscious dynamics that shape our being—what he termed the "super intellectuals" who have led us astray from our spiritual wholeness. By immersing ourselves in myths, symbols, and dreams that are often dismissed in contemporary society, we may cultivate a deeper connection to ourselves and the universe.
