All truck manufacturers, including RAM, Chevy, and Toyota, are battling rising MSRPs with foreboding repercussions on sales. Previously occupied dealerships now appear sparse with remnants of 2024 models that had saturated the market, resulting in heavy discounting reaching even $20,000 in certain cases.
As manufacturers struggle to move older inventory, they risk falling further behind due to their increasing MSRP. Deals that once seemed impossible now feel necessary, yet still do not undo the damage done by previous pricing—leading manufacturers into a desperate position of having to discount aggressively.
