While stationed at an airstrip in Colombia, the trafficker received alarming news. A contact in Bolivia revealed that the anticipated cocaine load was drastically diminished—only 130 kilos were ready to be retrieved, and the rest were unavailable on credit. In response, the young trafficker made a bold decision to travel to Bolivia himself, a choice that would soon prove perilous.
Upon arrival, an unexpected twist provided a glimmer of hope: the next load would, indeed, be available on credit. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, he chose to board an airplane carrying the cocaine instead of taking a commercial flight to Nicaragua for a crucial meeting.
