Following that, he demonstrated his prowess against the San Francisco Giants, delivering an awe-inspiring throw at 95.7 miles per hour that left spectators amazed.

However, he rapidly escalated his performances. Against the Milwaukee Brewers, he threw at an astonishing speed of 97.9 miles per hour, setting a record for the fastest thrown ball in the history of MLB as measured by Statcast at that time.
