Underutilization of Talent
As Midsouth wrestlers came into the Crockett fold, many talents were reportedly underutilized. While some stars transitioned successfully, others floundered without the spotlight they deserved. The environment of wrestling changed quickly, with rising stars and established names not getting their due as the company failed to integrate and promote its talent effectively.
The interviewees also noted that while certain stars like Sting were effectively utilized, some lower-level wrestlers did not receive the same treatment, reflecting the politics of wrestling where promotions often focus on familiar faces over new talent.
