With the adoption of silicon carbon technology, ranges of up to 600 miles and charging times of under five minutes are becoming feasible.
This shift means that electric vehicles could soon rival or surpass the convenience of petrol cars, which have historically appealed to consumers because of their quick refueling times. Charging stations equipped with higher capacity chargers are already being implemented, paving the way for a seamless transition to silicon carbon battery technology.
