Radicalization and Formation of the American Nazi Party
Post-war, Rockwell became increasingly radicalized as he immersed himself in German propaganda literature such as Mein Kampf. Influenced by prominent anti-communist figures like Senator Joseph McCarthy and car magnate Henry Ford, he adopted extreme racial views. By 1959, he had founded the American Nazi Party, initially called the World Union of Free Enterprise National Socialists.
