Hess became deeply involved in Nazi politics, playing crucial roles in organizing the party and even participating in the failed Beer Hall Putsch of 1923. Following this, he was imprisoned alongside Hitler in Landsberg Prison, where he assisted in the writing of "Mein Kampf." Following their release, Hess secured his place as Hitler's personal secretary and later as Deputy Fuhrer, gaining significant influence in the party's rise to power.
