In the early 2000s, Guns N' Roses became increasingly dormant until a dramatic reunion tour was announced in 2016, bringing Slash and Duff back into the fold. Despite the years of turmoil, the Not In This Lifetime tour was commercially successful, grossing over $584 million.
The division of earnings benefited the surviving members accordingly, with Axel reportedly earning $70 million, Slash around $64 million, and Duff about $58 million. Yet, behind the scenes, disputes continued over contracts and shares, particularly concerning Izzy, who had left the partnership many years prior.
