First and foremost, it’s time to stop pretending to be someone we’re not. Many of us spend years trying to fit into molds or images that society, family, or peers expect of us. The truth is, we should be comfortable with who we are, including our strengths and weaknesses. Embracing our authentic selves attracts people who appreciate our unique quirks, while allowing others, who may not understand or appreciate us, to fade into the background. Accepting this fact can lead to a more satisfying personal life.
