Developed by Williams International, the WASP X-Jet embodied the innovative aspirations behind vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) technology. Designed for personal transportation, its compact structure allowed for intuitive control and agility. Although it gained attention during evaluations by the US Army, the X-Jet ultimately could not compete with helicopters and unmanned vehicles. Its costly development and operational challenges relegated it to the backburner, despite its groundbreaking design.
