For the latest quarter, Tesla reported production figures of 345,000 units for the Model 3 and Model Y and 177,000 for other models including the Model S, Model X, Cybertruck, and possibly the Semi. However, the delivery numbers painted a stark picture: only 323,000 Model 3 and Model Y units were delivered, with the remaining other models collectively delivering just around 12,000.
Herbert from Brighter expressed uncertainty over the low delivery metrics for the Model S and X, suggesting that while lower inventory levels could partly explain the discrepancies, the aging nature of these models and lack of new features versus competitors might also play significant roles.
