Next, try a simple yet flavorful hamburger rice casserole. In a skillet, cook ½ to 1 pound of ground beef, depending on your preference. After browning, drain excess grease, and add ½ cup of water and ½ cup of uncooked rice—white or Jasmine work best.
Season with ½ teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of pepper, and 1 teaspoon each of onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika. Then stir in a 10 oz can of cream of mushroom soup and 14 oz can of petite diced tomatoes. Cover and let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. If the sauce thickens too much, don't hesitate to add a bit more water.
