Now that the batter is ready, pour it into the prepared cake tin. Give the tin a little shake to evenly distribute the batter, and lightly bang it to release any air bubbles trapped within. Place the tin in the oven and bake for approximately 22 to 25 minutes, depending on how fudgy you prefer your brownies. Remove them from the oven when they have a shiny top, and a toothpick inserted comes out dirty—this is crucial to maintain that fudgy consistency.
Once baked, allow the brownies to cool in the tin for about an hour. Afterward, run a thin knife around the edges to loosen them from the tin, and use the baking paper to lift them out. The aroma during this process is simply irresistible.
