Once finished, allow it to cool. You'll notice it becomes even thicker as it stands, and while there may be tiny brown particles from slight burning (if you left it unattended), the overall taste remains authentic.
Preparing the Ice Cream
Now that your homemade condensed milk is ready, it’s time to tackle the ice cream itself. Begin with sweetened heavy cream, which is often referred to as sweetened whipping cream. Pour this into a large mixing bowl.
The mixing process is crucial. Beat the heavy cream until it reaches a thick and creamy consistency. This stage of the process is fairly quick; the entire ice cream preparation should take about 15 minutes, excluding the time spent on the condensed milk.
