Egg Yolks – to enrich the batter.
Milk – adds moisture and helps in the easy mixing of ingredients.
Oil – for crispiness; a suggested 40g if you prefer a crunchier texture.
Vanilla Extract or any other flavoring – adds a sweet aroma.
Honey – not only sweetens the batter but also contributes to browning. Sugar can be used as an alternative.
Preparing the Batter
Once your ingredients are ready, mix the dry components together in a bowl. Add in the wet ingredients, starting with the egg yolks, followed by the milk, oil, vanilla extract, and honey. Stir them together until well combined. It’s okay if the mixture has some lumps; they will work themselves out during cooking!
