Assembling the lasagna is where the excitement truly begins. A glass baking dish is layered with sauce, cheese, and oven-ready lasagna noodles, which can be easily snapped to fit the dish.
Each layer involves repeating the sauce, cheese mixture, and noodles. Topped with a generous amount of shredded cheese, the lasagna goes into the oven covered with aluminum foil to prevent spillage while baking.
Baking to Perfection
Bake for thirty minutes covered, then remove the foil for an additional fifteen minutes to achieve a bubbly, golden top. An extra boost from a final blast of high heat for a few minutes creates that desirable crispiness around the edges.
