Adding Vegetables for Extra Flavor
While the meat browns, coarsely chop two celery stalks, two carrots, and two onions. These vegetables will contribute to the overall flavor of the dish. Once the beef is perfectly browned, remove it from the heat and set it aside.
In the same pan, fry the chopped vegetables for about 6-8 minutes, allowing them to soften and take on some of the beef's delicious flavor. Grease a baking dish with olive oil and layer the fried vegetables on the bottom before placing the beef on top.
