Preparing the Berry Topping
Begin your chia pudding journey by preparing the berry topping. In a saucepan, combine the mixed berries with your preferred sweetener. The amount of sweetener is adjustable based on how sweet you want the topping to be.
Set the mixture over high heat and bring it to a simmer. Once simmering, reduce the heat to medium-low and let it continue to cook for 15 minutes. It’s important to stir occasionally to prevent sticking. After 15 minutes, you can add a splash of Mexican vanilla to enhance the flavor before setting it aside to cool.
