To put muhammara to the ultimate test, our chef brought both his hummus and muhammara to his parents’ house for a taste test. Initially, the father, Dipak, expressed his indifference towards hummus, stating it wasn't one of his favorites. However, the homemade version of hummus did win him over on a previous occasion, leading to an intriguing comparison with the new dip.
When the time arrived to sample the muhammara, it was clear that the dip distinguished itself from its hummus counterpart. Despite being served both dips, it quickly became evident that reasoning through flavors and preferences was a shared experience for the family.
