Transfer the skinned hazelnuts into a food processor. You’ll need to blend them until they start to release their oils, which usually takes around 4 minutes.
As the nuts begin to break down, you’ll notice the mixture clumping together. Scrape down the bowl when necessary to ensure even blending. Continue this process until the hazelnuts reach a shiny and creamy consistency.
Adding Flavors
Next, add the unsweetened cocoa powder, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, vegetable oil, and melted (and cooled) milk chocolate to the blended hazelnuts. Sprinkle in the pinch of salt.
Blend the ingredients together until they are well combined and smooth, absorbing the flavors harmoniously.
