In a separate bowl, drain 10 oz of thawed spinach using a paper towel to remove excess water. Combine the drained spinach with 15 oz of ricotta cheese, 2 cups of shredded mozzarella, 1/4 cup of Parmesan, 2 tbsp of chopped parsley, 3/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, and one egg. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
Assembling the Lasagna
Now, it’s time to assemble your chicken lasagna in a 9x13 inch casserole dish. Start by spreading about half a cup of the cream sauce at the bottom of the dish to prevent the noodles from sticking. Next, layer three lasagna noodles on top.
