Slicing the Potatoes
For the ideal texture of chips, the thickness of the sweet potato slices is crucial. We will be using a mandoline slicer to achieve that perfect thinness. If you don’t have one, fear not; you can still use a knife, although it might require a bit more effort.
It’s essential to cut the slices evenly and thinly to ensure they cook properly and become crispy. Cutting them too thick will prevent the desired texture from being achieved.
